The Forge opened in January of 2013 in Oakland, California to rave reviews, and we’ve been growing ever since! With three thriving locations and a fourth in the works, The Forge features wood-fired cooking specializing in Neapolitan-style pizza and American classics. We always use the best quality local, organic, and seasonal ingredients, including high-quality 00 organic flour from Central Milling and our own naturally made and maintained leaven. This leaven, used instead of commercial dry yeast, can take on the living flavor of the environment in each of our restaurants.

What else is our secret? Nearly 80% of our menu items are prepared using the imported Italian Valoriani oven, which allows us to create a pizza like no other! From our famous slightly charred crust exploding with texture and flavor to our hard variety of cheeses that can stand up to the heat of our 850 degree-oven, The Forge boasts its own unique twist on classic Neapolitan-style pizza.

More than Just Great Pizza

The Forge isn’t about just killer pizza, however. We have an incredible craft beer program with 8-12 of the finest craft beers available at any given time. Add this to a stellar wine program and a creative cocktail menu, and you’ll see why finding an empty seat at our bar can be a challenge!

The icing on the cake for The Forge experience is our unique casual atmosphere. Our professional and knowledgeable, friendly staff provides sincere hospitality to our guests. Oakland, CA

Forge Pizza Jack London Square, in the heart of the historic Oakland District and home to festivals, concerts, and events throughout the year, opened in January of 2013. Our 4,100 square-foot waterfront restaurant has a prime corner location that opens out to a large 1,600 square-foot dog-friendly patio with outdoor fire pits. The design team has incorporated many unique custom-built artifacts and has also embraced the charm and history of the space.


Danville, CA

Forge Pizza Danville, carefully crafted into the southeast side of Danville’s famed Lunardi’s Market building adjacent to Iron Horse Plaza, opened in August of 2013. Our famous imported Valoriani oven is behind the bar and has become the centerpiece of what has become a live pizza show! In addition to the 15-seat bar that puts you front and center to watch our team in action, Forge Pizza Danville boasts a wraparound dog-friendly patio along with indoor seating options. Our location makes us a popular pit stop for our fans to take home a couple of pizzas to the family!


Napa, CA

Located in the New Century Center Plaza, Forge Pizza Napa offers the most unique full service dining experience in the Napa Valley. Opened in June of 2016, this urban industrial styled restaurant has quickly become a family favorite here in the Valley. With 3 corn hole game courts and a bocce court, there is something for adults and kids alike. A multitude of seating options, including the dog friendly 100 seat patio, give the diner a multitude of options dine and host events here at Forge. With the ever popular Century Theater in the plaza as well, Forge makes the perfect pairing for a dinner and a movie night.

Le Bon Temps is a full service restaurant firm that offers a turnkey solution for restaurants and bars. We specialize in market based real estate, concept and menu development, full scale design/build services and pre-opening and on-going operations management.
The team consists of Michael Karp, Bob Burke and Andy Byrnes each with over 20 years experience in their respective fields, which makes us a firm that allows a client or developer to access a one stop shop. We provide everything from culinary research and development to logo treatments and applications, to the set up of accounts payable, payroll, human resources and inventory packages, no stone is left un-turned.
